Fall Alto 1, Alto 2 Rehearsal Notes – As of 10/4/22

            M25: Breath.

First time through goes to Page 5 for a repeat!

            M10, 11, 13: Observe holds over “-layed” “hand,” and “land.”

            M19: Mf.

            M20: PP. Super quiet on unisons.

            M30: Mf. Also observe all holds!

            M33: Hold, then retard in M34.

            M35 – 41: Mostly just sops, no altos. Could sing the lower parts if wanted.

            M42: Break after “smile.” Don’t move without Jane.

            M44: Much slower.

            M39: “It” is quick – don’t emphasize the “T.” Sing “it” like “ih.”

            Do the crescendos.

            M9: Enter unison.

            M14: No breath.

            M48: Two beat measure, “hear” is two beats.

            M52/53: “love” and “I” love are steady two beats each. “I” is “aw.”

            M61: Decrescendo after “will-“.

            M63: More decrescendo after “will-“.

            M67: “the lux” steady beats.

            M77-80: No breath.

            M81: Be ready for the “D” after one beat.

            M85: Forte.

            M89, 91, 93, 95: Breaths after “up.”

M96: Breath after “wild.”

M97: Strong altos but don’t push.

            M11-12: Lighter sound. Keep pitch up.

            M73: Unison, so less loud.
