Flip the R’s in this piece.

P. 3, M. 6 – Hit “tam” with a forte, back off immediately to piano.

P. 4, M.8 & 11 – close to an “M” right away on “tam”.

P. 5, M. 21 – The “bo” of sapigabo” is pronounced “baw” (sapigabaw).

P. 6 – Be aware of the subito piano as soon as you turn the page.

P. 7, M. 45 – Put a hairpin over the first syllable (Ri). Lift at the end of the measure.

P. 8, M. 57 – The “ro of “paneró” is “rah”, with a flipped R.

P. 9 & 10, M. 79 – 86 – Hit each note with a forte dynamic, and immediately back off to piano.

P. 10, M. 87 – Make the dynamic piano.

P. 6, M. 73 – Breathe after “son”, then release up to the “Lo” – don’t let the pitch drop!

The Holly and the Ivy

P. 3, M. 22 – “Choir” is “Chwai”.

P. 7, M. 99 – Sing softly, and make sure the E is high enough.

An Advent Carol

P. 4, M. 12 – Get off on “cry”, don’t hold too long. 

Keep the pitches up, and sing softly.

Winter Solstice, Movement 2

P. 22, M. 19 – Cocoons is pronounced Cah-coons.

P. 23, M. 25 – Breathe at the end of the measure.

P. 24, M. 29 – Away is “A – weh”.

Berakhot

Breathy and soft. 

P. 6 – Quiet. M. 71 – Only crescendo to mezzo piano.
