Concerts & News
Still Heard Round the World
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the historic battles of Concord and Lexington, Concord Women’s Chorus presents a program of women composers writing for women’s voices, featuring the texts of famous Concord (and New England) authors.
Songs of the Revolution
To mark 250 years since the start of the American Revolution, we trace the road to rebellion with songs enjoyed by ordinary people, especially those who were often overlooked, such as women and people of color. Diane presents lively ballads, serene hymns, bold marches, and passionate laments.
Sing With Us!
Looking to fit more music into your life? We seek and welcome experienced singers to join us. We will be rehearsing in person again on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 am – noon from September through early May at Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord.
Under the direction of Jane Ring Frank, we make wonderful music together. We learn about vocal technique and music theory, we are challenged, and we have fun. Learn more about auditions or contact Chorus Manager Rowena Nelson at manager@concordwomenschorus.org with any questions.
“Choral music holds great intellectual and emotional power and has the means, above all arts, to create community—not only among singers but between singers and their audience.”
—Jane Ring Frank
