March 31. 2026 Rehearsal Plan
Dear CWC,
Thank you for your dedicated work on Tuesday. I hope you feel like we continue to make progress on our pieces.
I am very grateful.
For Tuesday, 3/31, here is your rehearsal plan:
- Run the whole piece: I Started Out Singing.
- “Hope Is the Thing with Feather” – run the whole piece.
- Shadow River: Work-through of the whole piece, remember to listen to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pn7ct_EW7Vc&list=RDPn7ct_EW7Vc&start_radio=1
- “This Day I am Eighteen” Run the whole movement (Movement II from Concord Fragments).
- Where the Light Begins, run the whole piece.
- Alway Something Sings, run the whole piece
- “Alder” from The Tree House. Run the movement.
- Anything else I can get to…🙃
As you can see, I am hoping to make our way through much of the music.

REMEMBER: I will hear auditions for Alway Something Sings on Tuesday, April 7, immediately after rehearsal (you can run to the Strategic Planning meeting immediately after, if you are interested – I encourage it. It is a great process). Then, an additional rehearsal on Thursday, April 9 – optional, Singer’s choice (meaning this: come with the issues in each piece that vex you) – I will address any of your musical issues! Try to attend – it can be very useful, especially at this point in our rehearsal process.
