Concord Women’s Chorus is an auditioned ensemble
and welcomes inquiries from experienced singers.
Auditions
We welcome singers with previous choral experience, including good sight-reading skills, solid intonation and vocal quality, responsiveness to direction, and the ability to blend within a group. For your audition, you may be asked to sight-read a short passage and/or sing a familiar tune. A prepared solo is not necessary.
We will hold open rehearsals on for our 2026 spring semester on January 13 and 20. Auditions will take place on January 20 and 27 at the end of the rehearsals . Rehearsals are held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street, Concord on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 am to noon. We encourage you to contact us with your interest.

Concerts
Chorus members are expected to attend rehearsals and to participate in our two major concerts in December and May. Our 2026 spring concert will be held on May 9, 2026 at 4:00 pm. We value opportunities to collaborate and perform with other musical and cultural groups, and may have additional commitments during the season.
COVID-19 Procedures
- We recommend that all singers be up to date on their Covid and flu vaccines and boosters.
- We will be rehearsing in the sanctuary of Trinity Church so that we can maximize space and ventilation.
- We currently are not requiring masks during rehearsals. This policy may change if conditions warrant it.
